Janet Cutts

Janet is from Elmton in North Derbyshire. She is now retired but has travelled extensively and sailed long distances with her long suffering husband. This has meant that she has many memories of
picturesque places, coastal scenes and likes any kind of boat. Her paintings are all watercolour and depict these memories.
A lockdown project the couple shared was to build a summerhouse in the garden which enabled the time, space and opportunity to take up painting more seriously after dabbling for years.
Taking online lessons from a British artist based in Italy completed the requirements to turn her into a competent artist. She spends many happy hours in her tiny studio in the corner of her garden.
