Established local artist, Kris Eggleston, has been creating original and inspiring artwork for a number of years. Having previously co-owned a gallery in Lea near Matlock and showcased work at numerous exhibitions and galleries. Kris has an impressive and wide-ranging portfolio.Her early passions led to the creation of detailed still life watercolours, which focused on the effects of time, more specifically objects bound to dereliction, erosion, rust and decay.Kris works in multimedia, producing pieces in watercolour, acrylic, pastel, oil pastel and pencil.
More recently her work has tended towards a loose form, illustrated by her acrylic pieces and daisy watercolours that have proven popular with local art collector’s and enthusiasts.Additionally, recent works produced in pencil have brought a quirky and fun element to kris’s portfolio.Kris continues to experiment with new techniques and styles to create exiting pieces for our pleasure.
