I stumbled into art in mid-life after attending local evening classes on pencil drawing. This progressed to pastels then oils and I now paint in both. like a lot of artists I started out doing pet portrait commissions but have branched out and have now developed a very distinctive textured style that combines realism with a painterly style. I started selling my work locally but now sell to private collectors in the UK and Eire.
