Gelli Printing

Today Leabrooks Arts Complex was awash with colour and creative energy as Patricia Lane introduced an enthusiastic group of individuals to the potential of abstract art, using Gelli prints. They were taken through a variety of strategies which, in the first instance, were challenging but, with her expert guidance, became exciting as she encouraged confident experimentation. What started off as tentative dabbling with ideas by everyone involved became a wholehearted commitment to the process. Everyone left with images which were worthy of display and a source of considerable pride.
