Greg Howard

Born in 1974 and raised in the Scottish Borders professional watercolour artist Greg Howard has been painting and illustrating in watercolour for longer than he cares to remember. As an artist Greg has been fortunate as he was not only raised in one of the most picturesque areas of the U.K the Scottish Borders but he has also lived in the Derbyshire Peak District and has recently moved back to the Lake District after several years away. Due to this, inspiration for his atmospheric, rich watercolours has never been hard to find and landscapes were an obvious choice of subject for Greg.

Greg has described his painting as “a never-ending or life-long quest to depict the ever-changing moods and nuances of nature” and is passionate about helping people to appreciate the natural beauty of the country they live in. His paintings cover a variety of subjects from landscapes & seascapes to street scenes and can be found in galleries and private collections across the globe.
